Snowing in my hometown

During the Chinese New Year, a big snowstorm has come to my hometown; my mother told me she had never seen such big snowstorm as this time’s. Many trees were crushed; vegetables were all frozen to death in some areas. Many people’s houses were damaged in rural areas, which is very serious. They had no power, no water, even food. My sister told me she couldn’t buy any food in supermarkets in her city, and transports couldn't move on the roads. Even the hospital had no power for operations. More than one month they had to carry water from the well. People used charcoal to make fire to kept warm. Now they many things will be restored.
